Take your dancing to the next level

Ceroc Vancouver holds 3 hour workshops in select dance studios on weekends called "Cerocshops." The Cerocshop environment is an EXCELLENT way to rapidly improve your dancing, whatever your level of experience. There are limited places in each workshop and places must be booked in advance (i.e. no drop-ins allowed for Cerocshops). The dance studio setting provides a intimate environment for in-depth answers to your questions.

All places must be reserved in advance. Cost is $30 in advance, or $40 on the day.

[If you are not already a member of Ceroc, then you will need to complete a membership form and pay a one-off fee of $5 on the day of your chosen Cerocshop.]

Look for the words "Don't have a PayPal account?" if you just want to use a credit card. Your transaction is managed entirely by PayPal, who have a secure site where your credit card number will not be exposed (not even to Ceroc Vancouver, Ceroc Canada, or Ceroc Worldwide).

Beginner A

Sunday, September 25th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm		 SBDC
No experience necessary. This Cerocshop covers Ceroc basics, 8-9 beginners moves, how to link moves, turning & spinning, freestyle techniques. This Cerocshop gives you the equivalent experience of about 4 classes. Each Cerocshop consists of different moves so it does not matter which order you attend them in i.e. you could do the Beginner B before you do the Beginner A.

Beginner B

No experience necessary. This Cerocshop covers Ceroc basics, 8-9 beginners moves, how to link moves, turning & spinning, freestyle techniques. This Cerocshop gives you the equivalent experience of about 4 classes. First Move variations (easy intermediate)

The basic beginner first move really comes into its own once you start to play with it! There are some wonderful intermediate variations of this move that are great for freestyling and easy to remember. This workshop covers the best ones.

Latin Style (intermediate)

Think Ceroc has no complicated footwork? We told a little white lie. Learn to add some stylish footwork back into your Ceroc moves to give them a fabulous Latin flare.

Leans & Lifts (intermediate)

Sunday, November 20th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm		 SBDC
"Thrills, without the spills!!". A selection of intermediate/advanced moves for Ceroc-ers who just want to show off on the dance floor. Will include mini-aerials i.e. both of the lady's feet are off the ground for a short period of time. The emphasis will be on technique, style and safety.

Dips & Drops (intermediate)

Sunday, December 4th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm		 SBDC
Take your Ceroc dancing to the next level by incorporating some simple dips and drops into your freestyle. Safe technique, appropriate signals, and super styling are all covered in this workshop.
